Houston Texans played well amid Saturday’s defeat against the Los Angeles Rams however missed the mark in the last few seconds due to a missed 50+ yard field goal.

The Texans finished with a score of 21-20 after the FG was missed as time expired.

This was the third pre-season game, and we at last got an opportunity to see J.J. Watt, Tyrann Mathieu and Jadeveon Clowney on the field together as it has not been seen all season. This would become a taste of what is to come in the regular season.

The Texans’ started well through the first half of Sundays game as they went in tied off a last second TD to get into halftime.

Amid the second quarter, the Texans were down 14-7 until the late bit of the quarter, when Brandon Weeden hurled one into the end zone to a jumping Braxton Miller, tying the game 14-14 at the half, with the Texans to kickoff right at the 3 quarter.

The Texans hope to learn from this loss and get the experience of the younger players up to speed as that is always the main goal of preseason.

The team will look to make a few roster cuts this week as the roster will hit its final 53 man roster after Sundays game against the Cowboys.

Perfection is no more this preseason, as many were wondering if the Texans could pull off the 4-0 preseason record.

Either way, the Texans will be ready for next week against the Cowboys.
