The Texans and Dez Bryant may have mutual interest according to sources, however, Vegas believes there’s a VERY good chance it actually happens. According to Vegas, the Texans have the highest odds at +300 to sign Dez Bryant in the off-season. Many may not understand this move, but many reporters believe they will be a quiet match as well.
Many reports are linking the Ravens and Bryant as they are also the only team to have public reports of interest to Dez. The Texans have had no public interest relating to Dez Bryant but that is not stopping reporters linking his name to the Texans. Dez may want to be close to his hometown and take a deal with the Texans. The Texans don’t necessarily need Dez at all in their wide receiving core, however a dual threat with Hopkins and Dez on the outside, and Fuller in the slot, Watson could possibly have a field day with this core. The Texans have been known to not allow outspoken players and emotional players play for them, and Dez is one of them. Dez has had a few moments on the sidelines, and many wonder if the Texans will even take a look at Dez as well. This is not stopping Vegas betters at MyBookie to keep the Texans on the top list. The Texans under new GM Brian Gaine may just take a shot to get better as Dez is an instant upgrade to the WR core.
More information will surely be out after the NFL Draft as Dez and his camp will most likely wait until after the draft to see if what teams could have WR needs and not fill it with a young high round pick. Dez does want to be a starter, but his production is certainly nowhere near where near it was a few years ago. He could help the Texans, but it may not be the best situation going forward to lock up an aging WR.
